I just wanted to say that all three of the nurses I personally encountered were absolutely wonderful. I have extreme anxiety with needles, to the point of panic attacks and tears. The lady checking us in noted that I seemed stressed and made sure I had my blood drawn from someone she trusted to be the best out of the group. The lady that took my blood was so very kind. She engaged with me the entire time and made me feel so calm. She sympathized with my fear and genuinely comforted me. Honestly, on a level I have never experienced with a nurse. I mean, nurses are usually kind but they are always like “oh it’s no big deal!” but she did not try to minimize my fear and instead acknowledged it. That’s a huge deal. The lady who did my nasal swab was also very nice. She and the lady who took my blood verbally checked in with me after the nasal swab to make sure I was ok. These ladies not only got us in and out so very quickly but they were extraordinarily kind during the entire process.
